Admission to the Program
Please follow the outlined steps to complete your application for admission to the Educational Technology MA Program:
1. Submit all required application documents through the University’s graduate applications website during the admission dates. Please ensure that you meet the eligibility requirements before applying.
2. Take an on-site written admission exam. The dates for the exam are listed on the graduate applications website, and further information about the exam is provided below.
3. Students who are successful in the written exam will be invited to an on-site oral exam. Please make sure to check your email for the invitation.
Written Admission Exam Format
The exam may consist of a written test involving open-ended and multiple-choice questions, and/or application-based tasks, to be conducted in the computer lab.
Familiarity with the following tools is expected
- Using online authoring tools like Google Docs, spreadsheets.
- Using online image editors like Canva for simple image editing, like poster creation.
- Introductory web front-end development tools: HTML, CSS, and JS usage. You can use tutorial pages like w3schools.com
- HTML (creating HTML page structure; using img, a, button, div tags purposefully)
- CSS (integrating CSS file into HTML; applying CSS as tag, div, or class; changing text-page-div sizes, orientation, colors; changing margin, padding)
- JS (variable definitions and usage including let & var; simple mathematical calculations like currency change; use of function with or without variables; integrating JS file to HTML; calling JS functions from the HTML file like from a button’s onclick event)
